Areas of Practice
Traffic charges or violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law fall into 2 categories. The more serious ones are traffic misdemeanors and are prosecuted in the District Courts of Nassau and Suffolk Counties and the Criminal Court of the City of New York. Traffic violations are less serious and are returnable in the Traffic Violations Agencies of Nassau and Suffolk Counties or one of the more than 50 village courts on Long Island.
